Milk X Pharrell's "In My Mind"

Milk special x with the BBC, Pharrell's new release... 3 covers (above 1 of 3)... and stickers.
The 'Baby Milo-like' graphics is abit meh ... but still cute and still sells I guess.
As for the album though... its much more groovy than I expected (do ppl still use 'groovy'?)... Very Neptunes right from the start... keeping it playa as Skateboard P will have you believe.

Connecting the dots

Reporting live from the lion's lair.. otherwise known as the office.
I really should stop flipping coin to decide whether to bringing an umbrella in the morning cos my luck with the weather sucks! I was soaked head to toe running from train station to the bus stop near Central (393) ... It is now sun shine and lollypop outside. Plus its hard to sneak into the office undetected with sqeaking wet sneakers (floorboards...)

Moving along...

In the strange and wonderful world of design/concept... this is what I stumbled across... the i-bar (note: it is not an iPod accessory.) , the intelligent surface system ... Take a look at the movies and see it in motion. Real cool, because it gives you instant visual feedback on motion/movement/touch/proximity of anyone that comes close to it including that hot girl across the room who just bought a vodka & tonic. Not so cool, because it will cost crazy amount of coins... kinda like that floating bed. Cool, because of the amount of information one can feed thru this gadget (graphics...text...light sequence...it even plays pong!!!) Not so cool, cos it will cost alot alot alot of coins.

Ah,... back to work.

Click...clicking...clicked

Its not often that I enjoy Adam Sandler's humor, don't get me wrong he is a very funny guy on screen just that his movie was never my cuppa. But I did enjoy "Click" alot. Theres no surprises in plot... stardard romantic comedy formula but when something is executed well no one will blame you for thinking inside the square... so long it is a good looking square then everybody goes home happy. Plus Kate Beckinsale plays an Architect's wife, so I for one was one of those people. Its a delight when things just clicks... Or maybe its the fact that Sandler plays an Architect in the movie... getting shafted by his boss/client/wife/kids/everyone... although I'm not so sure about his portrayal of an Architect but he gets something right every now and then... apparently they are doomed to a life of slavery under their own expectation. Darn it. Or maybe because of Kate Beckinsale. Who knows? I liked it, and that's that.

Some say fast food will kill you.
Probably true. But why should that stop anyone stuffing themselves with junk. Nor should that stop anyone from jumping for joy when they find a thigh and a drummie in a two piece feed. Or alternatively , have a Burgerlicious burger.
What can possibly be better than a perfectly grlled Gringa burger (with tasty cheese... avocado... sundried tomato... capsicum...yogurt...rocket...) twice in a week? huh? Hmmm....
*deep thoughts (... sunday morning basketball... a new pullover... a new sofa...a new heater...pocky decore... tuna onigiri...Chet Baker............Kate Beckinsale) ????
So its probably not the best thing in life but why should that stop it from being a very very tasty burger? nah... I'm just buggin' ... go get yourself one of those.
And listen to some Chet Baker. That old smoothie.

Until next time.

pics below... sunday basketball beverages (green one is mine)... world's greatest burger...reason to go watch "Click"...cafe South...Chi's cat... another reason to go watch "Klick"

The Black of Night

S1 is over ...again. Not much surprises with very few exception but at the end of the day I'm safe for another semester. Someone suggested maybe I need to take a break and do soemthing else. Entertaining thought but the bottom line is I want to finish the degree a.s.a.p. Not sure why though. Its not really a linear process but somehow by thinking of it that way makes things less complicated more bearable.
First of July. Another month. Another day. Another night. Tonight feels like one of those night where the seconds hand on the clock ticks back and forth... back and forth... stuck. The loosen tap... drip...drip...drip. Sun slowly breaking through the black of night.
The past Tuesday was Coldplay @ Sydney, SEC. I didn't prep myself for it by putting "X&Y" on loop 24/7 and really didn't know what to expect to be honest. Their infectious melody and Martin's onstage persona lifted the crowd to their feet. (My fav is still 'Clock')I don't think I've ever seen the SEC full house...every seat... SEC is always half empty... (half full... whatever!) I looked at her all the time and she looked so gorgeous when shes not aware of my stares.) I really didn't want the night to be over (but it did) They, again, claim the top spot on my iTunes play counts
